CSL Behring Nordic Scholarship for immunodeficiencies

The CSL Behring Nordic Scholarship for immunodeficiencies was established in 2023 and will be awarded every two years, starting 2024, to support research and development in the field of immunodeficiency in the Nordic region.

With the legacy of Emil von Behring, who received the first Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the development of serum therapies against diphtheria in 1901, CSL Behring supports collaborative innovation through the endowment of awards and grants to researchers around the world.

We are now establishing a Nordic scholarship to support research and development in the field of immunodeficiency.

The scholarship of 20 000 € will be awarded to Nordic applicants involved in basic or clinical research or other forms of development in the care of patients with serious immunologic diseases, every two years, starting in 2024.

The first winners will be announced at European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID) 16-19th of October 2024.

Opens for applications December 2023.
